Camera Tests

During pre-production, we took time out to experiment with technique and technology for shooting the film.  This is mainly done to see what our options will be when we’re ready for principal photography.  We were considering slow-motion at one point and wanted to see how much we could in camera and in post.  Starting with a high shutter and 60 fps, we were able to create an effective frame rate of around 1200 fps.

We also did some experiments with camera moves and lens choices.  The idea was to take advantage of the style and pixelation to really push what we could do.
